Designed for dirt, clay and compacted soil, these 250mm screw-in pegs drive deep and lock into the ground for reliable holding power. With a 4mm tapered tip, they penetrate tough ground more easily while maintaining strength where it matters.
Straight pegs rely on friction and often bend, loosen or pull out. Ground Dog Screw-In Pegs® screw in and stay put, delivering consistent anchoring where others fail.
Safety First: Check weather conditions before setup.
Do not use an impact drill - this will damage the peg and void warranty.
OPERATING TIPS
Ground Conditions:
- Hard Rocky Ground: Tuff Dog Screw in Pegs™ excel in these conditions – pre-drill if necessary.
- Clay Soil: Aggressive thread design grips effectively.
- Grass/Sandy Areas: Excellent holding power.
- Variable Hardness: Use Hook Collar adjustment when full depth isn't achievable.
Weather Considerations:
- Monitor weather conditions during use.
- An upgrade to Big Dog screw in pegs may be needed if conditions change during heavy rain.
- Remember that proper anchoring is only one part of weather safety.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Peg won't go in: Check you're turning counterclockwise. Ensure adequate downward pressure. Try alternate location if ground is extremely hard.
Peg spinning without penetrating: Ground may be too loose or sandy. Try different location with more compacted soil.
Peg bending: Stop immediately - you may be hitting rock. Never use impact drill with Ground Dog Pegs.
